Material Notes:
Sandvik seal grade C10C has been developed for seal ring applications requiring good corrosion resistance, high thermal conductivity and excellent mechanical properties. Sandvik C10C also features high capacity for dry running of the seal.

Features:

  • 10% alloyed binder and 90% tungsten carbide with coarse grain size.
  • High resistance to corrosion due to the alloyed binder.
  • Relatively low wear resistance.
  • High thermal conductivity which means good resistance to thermal cracks.
  • High toughness.
  • Good brazability.
