Advanced Elastomer Systems Santoprene® 121-75 M100 Thermoplastic Rubber

Subcategory: Elastomer, TPE; Polymer; Thermoplastic

Material Notes:
A black thermoplastic high-flow elastomer for excellent injection molding performance with good fluid resistance, formulated to replace thermoset elastomers such as EPDM, polychloroprene, and high quality SEBS compounds. It is polyolefin-based and UV stable.

Key Features: Ideal for glass encapsulation by injection molding; Flow length improved by 50% compared to SANTOPRENE rubber 101/201 grades; Fast, easy injection molding, especially for complex part geometries; Excellent sealing performance; Excellent surface aspect; Excellent elastic recovery up to 100°C (212°F); Minimal part warpage

Additional processing comments: This thermoplastic rubber is a shear-dependent material that can be processed on conventional thermoplastic equipment for injection molding. Material can be recycled. SANTOPRENE rubber is incompatible with acetal and PVC.

Values below are for injection molded plaques, side gated, 82.6 mm x 117.5 mm x 3.0 mm. Tensile properties measured across flow. Data provided by Advanced Elastomer Systems.
