BASF Elastollan® M88A55 Polyester Type Polyurethane Elastomer
Subcategory: Elastomer, TPE; Polymer; Polyurethane, TP; Thermoplastic
Key Words: TPU Rubbers
Material Notes: The Elastollan M Series of products listed are part of a new series of polyester-based thermoplastic polyurethanes (TPU). They are specifically formulated for fast cycling in Injection Molding applications. Cycle time improvements of up to 25% over standard polyester grade urethanes can be obtained with M-series grades. They exhibit excellent abrasion resistance, toughness, and resistance to fuels. As with all TPU products this grade must be dried prior to processing. Property values below are typical values based on molded plaques cured 20 hours at 100°C before testing. Information provided by BASF Corporation.
