Material Notes: Iron content is calculated as remainder. This alloy contains 8 to 10.5 percent chromium and about 1.0 percent molybdenum. This alloy is used for welding base metals of similar composition, usually in the form of pipe or tubing. Deposits are air hardening and require preheating and postweld heat treatment.
