It offers high gloss and impact, processability of polystyrene and cost savings over ABS. When used unmodified for the manufacture of food contact articles STYRON XL-8028 complies with the US Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and Food Additive Regulations 21 CFR 177.1640.
