Description: Chemical abbreviation according to ISO 1043-1: PE-UHMW Molding compound ISO 11542-1 PE-PHMW, QD, 30-5-7 Ultra High molecular weight polyethylene, approx. 10.5 Mio g/mol. Very high abrasion resistance, very low frictional properties, Charpy Notched Impact Test according ISO/FDIS 11542-2, Annex (23 ?C = 90 kJ/m?). Compression molding of semi-finished technical parts, ram extrusion of technical profiles. Complies with BGA Recommendation III, FDA 21 CFR Paragraph 177.1520, Monographs VI.2.2.1 and VI.1.2.2.2 (PE) in the European Pharmacopoeia, 2nd edition, as well as similar monographs in national pharmacopoeias, eg. German Pharmacopoeia 9 (DAB 9); Monograph VI.1.2.2.2 applies only to uncolored PE-UHMW.
