General Description

KiON Clear is a crystal clear, ready-to-use Polysilazane clear coat. When applied, KiON Clear cures at ambient temperature by a moisture induced crosslinking mechanism. KiON Clear can easily be applied by spraying, dipping, or brush coating. KiON Clear can be used as an oxidation- or corrosion-resistant clear finish for metals, plastics, glass and other substrate materials. An average dry time of approximately 1 hour is typically achieved, depending upon temperature and humidity. KiON Clear provides a clear, protective coating for both ferrous and non-ferrous metals and alloys, ceramics, glass, etc. In addition, KiON Clear has excellent “weatherability”, UV resistance, hardness and abrasion resistance.
