Polybutadiene Rubber (Low cis BR)

Characteristics: Low cis BR is different in cis content according to the production process and the catalyst. KKPC's low cis LBR has 35% cis content. LBR has high elasticity and reactivity containing about 14% vinyl bond structure. It is used in the tires of motorcycle, footwear, common industrial products, and also utilized as base polymer of HIPS (high impact polystyrene) which is widely used in cabinet of home appliances, interior decoration, and toys. Since these products have high Mooney viscosity and low solution viscosity, it's easier to control rubber particle size and reduce power consumption during processing.

This product is so sensitive to sunlight and humidity that it can be tarnished and caused deterioration of quality if exposed. It is recommended to store it in cool and shady area lest it should be exposed to direct sunlight. Do not expose to incompatible materials or contaminants.
