Chevron CP Grease is a corrosion preventive grease.

It is manufactured with a special low viscosity, low pour point base oil, a lithium thickener, and rust and oxidation inhibitors. It is light green in color with a smooth texture.

Chevron CP Grease`s soft consistency and very low oil pour point, -40°C (-40°F), enables it to provide excellent lubrication and easy application at low ambient temperatures.

Chevron CP Grease provides excellent corrosion protection. It stays on metal surfaces, protects bearings from moisture, and leaves a protective coating when equipment is not in use. In equipment such as cotton pickers, it resists the corrosive action of plant juices and does not leak or splash on cotton.

Applications

Chevron CP Grease is specifically recommended for John Deere, IHC-McCormick, and Case mechanical cotton pickers.

It is also recommended for other agricultural or industrial applications calling for a low consistency product with low operating temperature properties. Chevron CP Grease is an excellent preservative grease for parts kept in storage.

Chevron CP Grease NLGI 00 meets or exceeds the requirements of obsolete John Deere JDN 305 and JDN 360 standards for Cotton Picker Spindle Lubricants.
