Material Notes: Description: Armatex Coatings are applied to base textiles that range in chemical composition, configuration and weight. Mid-Mountain specializes in engineered coatings, both polymer and mineral based. The Polymer coatings include Silicone, Polyurethane, Acrylic, Teflon, Fluoroelastomer and hybrids. The Mineral coatings include Graphite, Quartz and hybrids. Textile fabric can be coated with a different coating on each side. The coatings are applied to most any Hytex cloth to enhance the performance characteristics of the base fabric in abrasion, chemical and heat resistance.
