Thermal Ceramics Kaogun 30 Dense Gunning Castables
Subcategory: Kaolin
Material Notes: Kaogun 30 is a thermally stable 3000°F (1649°C) gunning mix incorporating a high-purity, calcium-aluminate cement designed for low rebound. The combination of bauxite and calcined kaolin grain sizing produces thermal stability throughout the temperature range. A typical application would be reheat furnace roof and side wall repair and forging furnace linings.Applications Hot and cold gunning repairExisting refractory and ash hoppersReheat furnace roof and side wall repair Forging furnace liningsInformation provided by Thermal Ceramics
