Thermal Ceramics P Ceraboard
Material Notes: Ceraboard P has tighter tickness tolerances and s particulary useful in applications requiring very low variability. It is made from a slurry of refractory fibers and binders which have a low organic content.Features: Excellent thickness control and low variability High temperature stability Low thermal conductivity Low heat storage Rigidity and high strength allow machining and cuttingResistant to thermal shock Good erosion resistance Can be used in direct contact with flame Easy application Excellent compressive and flexural strengths, before and after firing Ease of fabricationApplications: This versatile board can be used where a rigid, self supporting and insulating product is required which has tight thickness tolerance and resistance to physical damage. Ceramic industry ( klin linings & klin car insulation ) Glass industry Ducts insulation High temperature expansion joints High temperature insulation Refractory backup insulation Combustion chamber construction Parting media in steel mills, metal working and heat treating Flue and chimney linings High temperature gaskets and seals Tundish covers Steel ladle and Torpedo capsInformation provided by Thermal Ceramics
