Thermal Ceramics 400 Mineral Fiber Paper
Material Notes: 400 grade papers are produced from premium, high quality mineral fibers and organic binders in a unique paper making process. These utility grade papers are noted for their good tensile strengths, outstanding handling characteristics, and good insulating values, while being very cost effective. The 400 grade papers can be die-cut in accordance with customer specifications in a variety of shapes and sizes. Features: Low thermal conductivity and heat storage Excellent flexibility with god tensile strength Easily fabricated and die-cut for gasketing applicationsApplications: High temperature gasketing Investment casting mold wrap Glassware separator/parting agent Automotive heat shields and muffler insulation Ladle refractory back up Glass tank refractory back up Parting agent in heat treating and metal working Appliance/radiant heater insulation Back up for aluminum troughs and metal transfer parts Back up lining for aluminum holding furnacesInformation provided by Thermal Ceramics
