Thermal Ceramics Therm-O-Flake Coating
Material Notes: Therm-O-Flake Coating and Therm-O-Flake Coating-M are lightweight, “fine grained”, gun-applied insulation. They both have an effective temperature range up to 1800°F (982°C). Highly efficient insulations, these coatings are used extensively to reduce radiation loss and air infiltration as well as conserve heat. Therm-O-Flake Coating or Therm-O-Flake Coating-M may be applied to hot or cold surfaces on primary and secondary regenerator walls of glass tanks, reverberatory furnaces, bulkheads, end walls, side walls and arches. They are both particularly effective when used as a sealant over older firebrick walls, bulkheads and arches. Features: Effective temperature range up to 1800°F Highly efficient insulation Used to reduce radiation loss and air infiltrationApplications: Roof/curved surfaces End and side wallsInformation provided by Thermal Ceramics
