Thermal Ceramics A-54 HT Kao-Tex 1900 Cloth
Material Notes: Kao-Tex 1900 Cloths are a specially processed silica fabric having much improved high-temperature properties over our Kao-Tex 1800 silica textiles. This textile has unique properties of higher strength retention and maintained flexibility after exposure for long periods to temperatures as high as 1900°F. Kao-Tex 1900 is available in both standard and pre-shrunk grades. The standard grade will have a hydrocarbon coating to improve handling and abrasion properties. The pre-shrunk grades (B-30 HTS and A-54 HTS) are available with the following choices: no coating; hydrocarbon coating; or a special coating to give improved drapeability, tear strength, and adhesion properties when used in reinforced composites. Coatings of silicone, neoprene, or aluminization can be applied to Kao-Tex 1900. Features: Made from high silica yarn Easily sewn and fabricated High strength and flexibilityInformation provided by Thermal Ceramics
