PANEX® 33 MF milled round fibers are specially processed PAN (polyacrylonitrile) based fibers for lower cost applications. Zoltek mills these fibers in-house. Generally used for plastics compounding applications involving static dissipation, EMI shielding, resin-rich surface reinforcement in composites, and low-cost polyurethane friction compounds. Standard mean fiber length is 5.9 mil (150 µm); other lengths may be available upon request.
