General Description

Beryllium (Be) Nanoparticles, nanodots or nanopowder are spherical black high surface area particles. Nanoscale Beryllium Particles are typically 20-60 nanometers (nm) with specific surface area (SSA) in the 30 – 70 m 2 /g range. Nano Beryllium Particles are also available in Ultra high purity and high purity and coated and dispersed forms. Applications for Beryllium nanocrystals generally involve their use the study the toxicological effects of beryllium and in coatings, plastics, nanowire, nanofiber and textiles and in certain alloy and catalyst applications.
