General Description

Calcium Phosphate (CAP) Nanoparticles, nanodots or nanopowder are spherical high surface area particles. Nanoscale Calcium Phosphate Particles are typically 10 - 80 nanometers (nm) with specific surface area (SSA) in the 30 – 60 m 2 /g range. Nano Calcium Phosphate Particles are also available in passivated and Ultra high purity and high purity and coated and dispersed forms. Research into applications for Calcium Phosphate nanocrystals include use as an alternative vaccine adjuvant and delivery system with an improved safety profile and enhanced immune system stimulation over aluminum salts and for their potential imaging, biomedical and bioscience properties and for use in coatings, plastics, nanowire, and in alloy and catalyst applications.
