American Elements Indium Nanoparticles
Subcategory: Pure Element; Nonferrous Metal
Key Words: Formula: In; CAS Number: 7440-74-6
Material Notes: General DescriptionIndium (In) Nanoparticles, nanodots or nanopowder are spherical or faceted high surface area metal nanostructure particles. Nanoscale Indium Particles are typically 20-40 nanometers (nm) with specific surface area (SSA) in the 30 – 50 m 2 /g range and also available in with an average particle size of 100 nm range with a specific surface area of approximately 7 m 2 /g. Nano Indium Particles are also available in Ultra high purity and high purity and coated and dispersed forms. Applications for Indium Nanocrystals include as a superconducting material, with carbon nanotubes and in further research for their potential electrical, magnetic, optical, biomedical and bioscience properties.
