American Elements Lutetium Nanoparticles
Subcategory: Pure Element; Nonferrous Metal
Key Words: Formula: Lu; CAS Number: 7439-94-3
Material Notes: General DescriptionLutetium (Lu) Nanoparticles, nanodots or nanopowder are black spherical high surface area particles. Nanoscale Lutetium Particles are typically 10 - 100 nanometers (nm) with specific surface area (SSA) in the 30 – 50 m 2 /g range. Nano Lutetium Particles are also available in passivated and Ultra high purity and high purity and coated and dispersed forms. Research into applications for Lutetium nanocrystals has focused on use as a dopant in glass, laser optics and optical fibers, in phosphors, nanophosphors and doped phosphorous nanoparticles and for their potential electrical, dielectric, magnetic, optical, imaging, catalytic, biomedical and bioscience properties and for use in coatings, plastics, nanowire, and in alloy and catalyst applications.
