American Elements Molybdenum Nanoparticles
Subcategory: Pure Element; Nonferrous Metal
Key Words: Formula: Mo; CAS Number: 7439-98-7
Material Notes: General DescriptionMolybdenum (Mo) Nanoparticles, nanodots or nanopowder are black high surface area particles. Nanoscale Molybdenum Particles are typically 50 - 100 nanometers (nm) with specific surface area (SSA) in the 1 – 5 m 2 /g range. Nano Molybdenum Particles are also available in Ultra high purity and high purity and coated and dispersed forms. Applications for molybdenum nanocrystals include as a high surface area catalyst and catalyst support and as the catalysts in the synthesis of vertically aligned carbon nanotubes and in coatings, plastics, nanowire, nanofiber and textiles and in certain alloy and catalyst applications.
