Toho Besfight® MC Type I (6000 Filament) Nickel Coated Carbon Fiber
Subcategory: Carbon Fiber; Carbon
Material Notes: Besfight MC Polyacrlonitrile (PAN) based fiber combines the mechanical properties and flexibility of carbon fiber with the electrical conductivity of nickel. It does not delaminate even at the mechanical breaking point due to the good bond between the carbon fiber and nickel. Used in thermoplastic compounds for EMI shielding. Information provided by Toho Carbon Fibers, a wholly owned subsidiary of Toho Tenax Co., Ltd.
