Ductile Iron grade 120-90-02
Subcategory: Ductile Iron; Alloy Cast Iron; Metal
Key Words: UNS F36200, martensitic, oil quenched, tempered, high strength
Material Notes: Carbon represents the total carbon in the above composition. Cerium is an optional constituent in ductile iron. Most ductile irons are specified based on mechanical properties and have loosely defined compositions. For example, 120-90-02 ductile iron is specified to have a minimum tensile strength of 120 ksi (827 MPa), a yield strength of 90 ksi (621 MPa) and an elongation of 2%. Martensitic, oil quenched and tempered. Highest strength and wear resistance. Applications include pinions, gears, rollers and slides.
