AISI Type 305 Stainless Steel, annealed, wire
Subcategory: Stainless Steel; T 300 Series Stainless Steel; Heat Resisting; Metal
Key Words: UNS S30500, AMS 5514, AMS 5685, AMS 5686, ASME SA193, ASME SA194, ASME SA240, ASTM A167, ASTM A240, ASTM A249, ASTM A276, ASTM A313, ASTM A314, ASTM A368, ASTM A473, ASTM A478, ASTM A492, ASTM A493, ASTM A511, ASTM A554, ASTM A580, FED QQ-S-763, FED QQ-W-423, SAE J405 (30305), DIN 1.4303, UNI X8 CrNi 19 10, JIS SUS 305, SUS 305 J1, AMS 5514, ISO 4954 X5CrNi1812E, ISO 683/13 13, 18-8
Material Notes: Same corrosion resistance and Type 302, but much lower rate of work hardening. Excellent cold formability, good free spinning and cold heading properties, recommended for severe cold drawing. Applications include electronic parts and other drawn applications. For wire > 3.18 mm diameter, gage length is 4 times diameter, for wire < 3.18 mm diameter, gage length = 254 mm
