Deutsche Titan Tikrutan® LT 34 Alloyed Titanium
Subcategory: Titanium Alloy; Nonferrous Metal
Close Analogs: TiAl4Mo4Sn2Si; DIN 3.7185; WL 3.7184; BS TA 48-51, TA 57; AIR TA4D4E; AECMA Ti-P63001
Material Notes: Tikrutan LT titanium alloys are used where the mechanical properties of the commercially pure or low-alloyed titanium materials do not meet the requirements of the application. Thanks to their high strength-to-density ratio as compared with steel these alloys make for appreciable weight savings, which e.g. in the aerospace industry are essential. In many cases titanium alloys are the only conceivable material for engineering components which are subjected to severe acceleration forces and have to be highly durable to maintain the performance of the plant. Used in aerospace, auto, and medical engineering industries. Information provided by Deutsche Titan
