Material Notes:
Hogen Duralloy refractory alloys are manufactured by pressing, sintering, and infiltrating tungsten with copper or silver.

Silver-Tungsten is used when high oxidation-resistant materials are necessary and superior surface is required. Silver-tungsten is also widely used for tips on contact shoe facings used in high frequency continuous welding processes.
