Material Notes: Hogen Duralloy refractory alloys are manufactured by pressing, sintering, and infiltrating tungsten with copper or silver. Typical Resistance Welding Applications: Used for light duty projection welding dies requiring low pressure. Another common use is tips on contact shoe facings used in high frequency continuous welding processes. Same general uses as Hogen H5W, but with higher wear resistance.
