Sandvik H10F Extra-fine Grain Cemented Carbide for Rotary Tools
Subcategory: Metal Matrix Composite; Carbide; Tungsten Alloy; Nonferrous Metal
Material Notes: SANDVIK extra-fine grain cemented carbide grades have been developed to meet the exacting demands placed on solid carbide tooling by modern technology. SANDVIK extra-fine grain cemented carbide grades are true submicron grain size tungsten carbide alloys. The tungsten carbide grain size is 0.8 µm, which is precisely controlled. This grade offers an excellent combination of strength and toughness. In addition, a special additive maximises corrosion resistance without loss of toughness. SANDVIK grade H10F incorporates 10% cobalt and 90% tungsten carbide (WC). H10F is recommended for solid carbide rotary tool applications in the ISO K20/K30 range. It has special advantages where high toughness and sharp edge profiles are needed. Information provided by Sandvik
