Material Notes:
The DH family of grades offers two innovations based on the latest Sandvik developments:

  • The unique grain size distribution is optimized to improve the toughness and the micro crack resistance
  • The composition of the DH grades includes specific additions to increase the thermal resistance (thermal cycling fatigue), and the corrosion/oxidation resistance

    • This combination of innovations gives the DH grades a high edge retention and crack resistance. These properties, combined with a good brazeability and grindibility, allow the DH grades family to be very efficient when looking at cost/performance ratio.

  • Medium impact strength
  • Binderphase content 5%
