Sandvik H3F Cemented Carbide for Metal Forming Applications
Subcategory: Metal Matrix Composite; Carbide; Tungsten Alloy; Nonferrous Metal
Material Notes: SANDVIK extra-fine grain cemented carbide grades have been developed to meet the exacting demands placed on solid carbide tooling by modern technology. SANDVIK extra-fine grain cemented carbide grades are true sub micron grain size tungsten carbide alloys. The tungsten carbide grain size is 0.8 µm, which is precisely controlled. These grades offer an excellent combination of strength and toughness. In addition, a special additive maximises corrosion resistance without loss of toughness. Features:SANDVIK grade H3F incorporates 3% cobalt (Co) and 97% tungsten carbide (WC). Extra fine carbide grain size.Very high wear resistance.Information provided by Sandvik
