Material Notes:
Sandvik’s extra fine grained Cemented Carbide grade DZ05 has been developed to meet the high demands modern metal forming sets to Cemented Carbide tools. The very fine grain size means that a superior quality of the cutting edge can be achieved. The binder in the grade is alloyed to improve corrosion resistance.

Features:

  • Extra fine grain cemented garbide grade.
  • Very high wear resistance.
  • Superior cutting edge quality.
  • Improved corrosion and oxidation resistance.
    • (Rather sensitive to brazing and grinding stresses. Brazing and grinding should be carried out under optimum conditions).
