Sandvik KANTHAL Nikrothal 40 Resistance Strip
Subcategory: Nickel Alloy; Iron Base; Metal
Material Notes: NIKROTHAL 40 is an austenitic NiCrFe alloy which is recommended for use at wire temperatures up to 1100°C (2010°F). NIKROTHAL 40 has good ductility after use, good corrosion resistance except in sulphur containing atmospheres and certain controlled atmospheres.Typical applications for NIKROTHAL 40 are as braking resistors and as electrical heating elements in industrial furnaces.
