Sandvik KANTHAL Nikrothal 60 Resistance Strip
Subcategory: Nickel Alloy; Iron Base; Metal
Material Notes: NIKROTHAL 60 is an austenitic NiCrFe alloy which is recommended for use at element temperatures up to 1150°C (2100°F). NIKROTHAL 60 has excellent hot strength, good oxidation properties and very good formability. NIKROTHAL 60 has good corrosion resistance except in sulphur containing atmospheres and certain controlled atmospheres.Typical applications for NIKROTHAL 60 are as braking resistors and as electrical heating elements in industrial furnaces.
