Sandvik 5CR12 Ti Plate, Sheet and Coil
Subcategory: Nickel Alloy; Alloy Steel; Metal
Material Notes: Sandvik 5CR12 Ti is a ferritic chromium-nickel steel with min 11% Chromium and added Titanium provides adequate corrosion resistance properties under normal atmospheric conditions. The analysis with low C and N values and increased Mn and Ni alloying constituents produces high strength in the welded condition (high martensite with low hardness). The stabilising ratio of the titanium content of at least 6xC (%) minimises the susceptibility to intergranular corrosion after welding. Information provided by Sandvik
