Material Notes: Austenitic stainless steel, ASTM type 316LSandvik 3R66 is a molybdenum-alloyed austenitic chromium-nickel steel. It is characterised by low contents of the interstitial elements carbon and nitrogen. The grade is specially developed for electronic tubing used in the production of micro-chips.
