Material Notes:
Commercially Pure (CP) titanium seamless tubing offers excellent corrosion resistance to seawater and other media. This alloy, also known as Grade 2 titanium is characterized by:

  • Excellent resistance to general corrosion in seawater applications
  • Resistant to stress corrosion cracking in chloride and sour gas environments
  • Excellent resistance to pitting, crevice and erosion corrosion
  • High heat transfer efficiency Good formability and weldability
  • Very low thermal expansion
  • Moderate strength
