Material Notes:
Cold Work Steels, because of their typical properties - high surface hardness, good toughness and compressive strength, high wear resistance - find use as cutting and pressing tools, cavity moulds and knives, hobbing and drawing tools, cavity sinking punches, flat and circular thread-rolling dies and much more.

12% ledeburtic chromium steel. Maximum wear resistance, good toughness. Best cutting-edge endurance and resistance to tempering, can be nitrided after special heat treatment.
