Domex® Wear Steel Sheet
Subcategory: Low Alloy Steel; Metal
Material Notes: Iron content calculated as remainder. Characteristics: Domex® Wear is a new grade of steel sheet in the Domex® range, and its main distinguishing features are good wear resistance, high strength, good bendability, high toughness and good weldability. The wear resistance of Domex® Wear is close to that of much harder quenching and tempering steels. Uses: For components subjected to moderate abrasive wear caused by hard particles, such as stones, sand, ore or slurries. In the building industry: concrete mixers, hoppers. In the transport industry: truck platforms, tippers, sludge conveyors, refuse collection trucks. In agriculture: plough shares, seed conveyors. In the mining industry: fans, screws conveyors.
