Universal Wire Works 316L Stainless Steel Electrode
Subcategory: Stainless Steel; T 300 Series Stainless Steel; Metal
Key Words: AWS E316L-15,16
Material Notes: Iron content is calculated as remainder. Universal 316L is the same as Alloy 316 except for the restricted carbon content. By holding the carbon content below 0.04% the chances of carbon precipitation is minimized thus protecting the corrosion resistance of the base metal. Universal 316L is used extensively in the chemical and process industries and on parts and equipment build to resist acids used in the manufacture of ink, paints, rubber, synthesized fabrics, bleaches, photographic chemicals and pulp and paper.
