Material Notes:
Iron content is calculated as remainder.

This alloy is the same as ER308L, except for the higher silicon content. This improves the usability of this filler metal in the MIG welding process. The higher silicon improves the washing and wetting behavior of the weld metal, and this can reduce finishing costs particularly on thin metal applications.
