Material Notes:
Iron content is calculated as remainder.

The titanium added to the alloy composition acts in the same way as columbium in ER347 in reducing intergranular carbide precipitation and thus increasing resistance to intergranular corrosion. This alloy is used for welding alloys of similar composition, using an inert gas shielded process.
