Universal Wire Works ER90SB-9 Stainless Steel Bare Wire
Subcategory: Stainless Steel; Metal
Material Notes: Iron content is calculated as remainder. This alloy is a 9 percent chromium, 1 percent molybdenum solid wire modified with niobium (columbium) and vanadium designed to provide strength, toughness, fatigue life, oxidation resistance and corrosion resistance at elevated temperatures. Due to the higher elevated temperature properties of this alloy, compositions that are now fabricated from stainless steels and ferritic steels may be fabricated from a single alloy, eliminating problems associated with dissimilar welds. Information provided by Universal Wire Works for their line of welding wire and filler metal.
