Universal Wire Works ER16-8-2 Stainless Steel Bare Wire
Subcategory: Stainless Steel; Metal
Material Notes: Iron content is calculated as remainder. This alloy was designed for welding stainless steel for high pressure, high temperature piping systems. The weld deposit usually has a ferrite number no higher than 5. The deposit also has good hot ductility properties, which offer greater freedom from weld or crater cracking even under restraint conditions. The weld metal is usable in the as-welded or solution-treated condition. Information provided by Universal Wire Works for their line of welding wire and filler metal.
