Material Notes: Alloy 625 is used for TIG, MIG and submerged-arc welding of Inconel type alloys 601 and 625, Incoloy type alloy 800, as well as overlaying on steel and joining 9% nickel steel. Alloy 625 can be used for welding a variety of dissimilar joints including Inconel type alloys, Incoloy type alloys, stainless steels, low alloy steels and carbon steels.
