Universal Wire Works 117 Nickel Alloy Welding Wire
Subcategory: Nickel Alloy; Nonferrous Metal
Key Words: AWS A5.11 Class ENiCrCoMo-1; ASME SFA-5.11 Class ENiCrCoMo-1
Material Notes: Nickel content is calculated as remainder. Alloy 117 is a nickel alloy electrode for welding nickel-chromium-cobalt-molybdenum alloys (UNS # N06617). This alloy electrode provides optimum strength and oxidation resistance above 1500 degrees F up to 2100 degrees F, especially when welding base metals of nickel-iron-chromium composition. Alloy 117 can also be used for overlay cladding where similar alloy is required. Information provided by Universal Wire Works for their line of welding wire and filler metal.
