Material Notes: Copper content is calculated as remainder. Alloy 190 is used for arc welding Monel type alloys 400 and 404 to themselves or to one another, as well as overlaying on steel. Typical applications include welding ASTM B127, B163, B164, and B165. Dissimilar welding applications are: joints between Monel type alloys and copper, copper-nickel, carbon steel and low alloy steel. Electrode sizes 3/32 and 1/8 diameter can be used in all positions, while the larger 5/32 and 3/16 diameter are used in the flat and horizontal positions. POWER SUPPLY DCRP.
