Material Notes: Iron content is calculated as remainder. Alloy 81T1-B2 is a low alloy steel flux cored wire for welding steels with 1.25% chrome and 0.50% molybdenum. This electrode is designed for single and multiple pass welding is all positions of steels subject to high temperature service such as ASTM A387 Gr. 11 plate and A335 P11 pipe. This alloy is used extensively in the fabrication of boilers, heat exchangers, piping systems, and pressure vessels. This alloy exhibits superb welder appeal with excellent mechanical properties, low spatter, and easily removed fast freezing slag.
