Characteristics: Processing Temperature Range: 280-600°F, Less Crystalline and Softer than Polyethylene, Excellent Thermal Stability allows Extrusion Processing up to 600°F, Non-Corrosive at Extrusion Temperatures, FDA Clearance for the Packaging of Most Foods, including Aseptic Packaging Applications:Films: Contains a High Level of Slip and Antiblock Additives, Suggested Processing Temperatures: 340°F for Blown Film and 450°F for Cast Film; Low Crystallinity, High Haze, Extremely Good Dart Impact Strength, Low Stiffness and Excellent Heat Seal Response; Coextrusions: Excellent Coextrusion Tie Layer for LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP, EVA, EEA, Ionomer, PET, PC, PVDC, and PVC (rigid); Coating and Laminations: Higher Neck-In but Similar Drawdown vs. Polyethylene, Excellent Heat Seal Response at Low Seal Temperatures, Processing Temperature Range is 580-600°F, Can be Drawn to 4 lbs. per Ream, Gas Barrier and Grease Resistance Slightly Less vs. LDPE Film properties below based on film thickness of 25 µm.
