Material Notes:
AboCoat 8006-3/AboCoat 8606-3 is a 2-component clear versatile epoxy for protective and dielectric coatings.

Suggested Uses: Heavy-duty all-purpose protection against water, alkalis, diluted acids, common solvents, corrosion, wear. Corrosion inhibition also on tightly bound rust. Superior salt spray resistance in marine and industrial applications. Concrete, wood and metal floors coating. Brushing on moist or wet surfaces tends to emulsify water, which then evaporates with solvent. Protection of wooden furniture in plants, laboratories, commercial kitchens, hospitals. Most effective for protection of all kinds of electric and electronic components.

Processing:

Ratio by volume: 1 part AboCoat 8006-3 (clear resin in organic solvent) to 1 part AboCoat 8606-3 (clear converter in organic solvent).

Cure Schedule: Room temperature cure 4-6 hours for handling, 3-4 days for full physical properties, and 6-8 days for full chemical properties. High temperature cure 25 minutes at 200°F, 15 minutes at 250°F, 10 minutes at 300°F, or 5 minutes at 350°F.
