EPI Engineered Polymers EP MAP-Z 14 Aliphatic Polymers
Subcategory: Thermoset
Material Notes: EP MAP Z, “Powered by Reactamine® Technology”, are zinc modified aliphatic prepolymers with monomer-extracted levels of a maximum of 0.2%. The polymers are made from HDI. Three products are available. EP MAP Z has been designed for use as a primer for steel to prevent corrosion. Colors may be added due to its aliphatic nature. A clear top-coat of EP RAP60M may be used over EP MAP Z. Solvents such as xylene, MEK, or butyl acetate may be used to cut EP MAP Z to improve sprayability. EP Map-Z 14 contains 14 % NCOPart of the Amber Chemical Group. Data provided by manufacturer.
